HARVEST FESTIVAL
The three-day False River Harvest Festival will be held Oct. 18-20. Festival times are Friday (Oct. 18) from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday (Oct. 19) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday (Oct. 20) from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 per day and 17 and under can attend for free. HOLIDAY MARKET AT THE MILL
The Holiday Market at the Mill will be held Nov. 22-24. Times are Friday (Nov. 22) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday (Nov. 23) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday (Nov. 24) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The admission fee is $5 and is good for all three days. A NEW ROADS CHRISTMAS
A New Roads Christmas will be held from noon to 9 p.m., featuring a variety of activities. Carnival rides, food booths and pictures with Santa will begin at noon and continue throughout the day. The downtown parade rolls at 5:30 p.m., and the tree lighting and caroling begin at 6:30 p.m.

Lundi Gras Toast
With unfavorable weather conditions in tomorrow’s forecast, Mayor Cornell Dukes has taken a pre-emptive approach and changed the venue location for New Roads Lundi Gras events. New Roads 2nd Line Parade and Lundi Gras at Doris Park will be held at Scott Civic Center, 1200 Major Parkway in New Roads. Despite change of location, the events will go on as scheduled.
